So if you saved before the last night-chat, you could keep switching who you talked to and fighting the boss. Summon Night: Twin Age Page 4 NDS - Console and Game Discussions; Home; Forums. As with every Summon Night title I've played, and mainly because it's the first Summon Night title (I've played) where the Heroine is so much cooler than the Hero, at least art-wise, usually the girls looked kinda dumb.

I’m putting all of my games on hold to play this one. Because it’s just too, too addictive says the person who stayed up till 3AM to play this game and got to work an hour late this morning.I played the first Summon Night on PS1, and I remember that time it was a fun game. One thing about Summon Night is that you can get pairing endings; at the end of each chapter you can choose which party member you’d like to talk to, and at the end of the game the main character will pair up (sort of) with the character whom the main character talked to the most often. And if I’m not mistaken, in all of the Summon Night series you can choose to be a male or female main character. That is the case for Twin Age, and you can choose to be Reiha (female, magician) or Aldo (male, swordsman). I’m actually not quite sure, as far as romance goes, whether it has enough romance in it to be considered an otome game.

But for the moment I’ll think of it as an otome game at least until I finish 1 playthrough and can decide whether it’s an otome game or not.I’m not going to write anything about the storyline, since it’s already been released in English and you can easily find info on the storyline on the net. There’s an for it too, which has lots of info. But I’ll say this; gameplay is helluva addictive. It’s a free moving RPG, as in you tap on the screen and your character will run over there, tap on an enemy and your character will attack the enemy until it’s defeated, to use magic just tap on the magic you want and tap the target etc.
Battle system is very good; it’s not too easy that it gets you bored, and it’s not too complicated that the game will give you a 5-10 minutes tutorials on how to use magic etc.coughFinalFantasycough. And the game doesn’t fall into the type of game that demands a lot of time; you don’t need to spend hours levelling up just so you can be strong enough to face the next boss. So I guess the game falls into the ‘easy’ category?
Supporting characters are controlled by AIs, and the AIs are actually doing a decent job none of those incidents where the AIs stood aside admiring the scenery while I’m getting my limbs hacked off by a boss. And since you get a limited number of chapters to talk to the characters I foresee myself replaying this game in the future to see different pairing endings (and with male and female main characters that doubles the number of possible endings). I think there are 7+ supporting characters you can end up with? So if I don’t update this blog at all for the next few months, it’s gotta be because of this game.
